It's Over :(

San Diego, United States

My Dearest Kai, A.K.A Charanda -
You are on your way home to start a new and amazing life. I am so proud of you! This has been the most amazing experience of my life. I could not have and would not have wanted to do this with anyone other than you. I have never laughed this much in my life! This country will never be the same again! I am going to miss you terribily. We have made so many incredible memories together over the past four weeks, and even more over the past four years. You have been there for me without judgment through some of the most challenging times of my life and I appreciate your friendship more than you will ever know. You are a strong, itelligent, and beautiful woman. You inspire me to be a better person, I trully am blessed to have you in my life. I hope we take this trip as an opportunity to realize we can do anything we want as long as we believe it. Never forget how we felt ,everywhere we went, and take that feeling with you through life. Thank you for putting up with me. I am going to miss cuddling, and laughing, and singing, and daquiris, and planting, and dancing, and falling, most of all I am going to miss singing! I am going to miss you!!! FRIENDS FOR LIFE!!!!!!!
Free and Easy Baby,
Kelly

We have been enjoying our last days together sitting on the beach and going out in San Diego. Had the best dinner ever at the Strip Club. We are so sad our trip is almost over.

Day 23 and beyond! California!

Los Angeles, United States

We drove through the desert for hours, sat in horiffic five lane bumper to bumper LA traffic and made our way to Santa Barbara. In Santa Barbara we jumped out of our car and ran straight to the beach.

Day 20 and 21 Sedona, Arizona

Sedona, United States

Sedona made us feel like we were in a post card that is how amazing the landscape is here. It is one of the most calming places we have ever been to and we spent our time hiking on the Red Rock trails and sitting by the pool overlooking the mountains. One night at dinner we saw the moon rise over the mountains, it was incredible. This is definitley a place we will come back to. Off to the Grand Canyon.

Day 17 and 18 Fort Worth, Texas

Fort Worth, United States

Cowboys, bull riding, and more cowboys! Fort Worth is definitley the home of the original cowboy. Almost everyone had on cowboy boots, very tight wranglers, and a cowboy hat. We went to a Honky Tonk at a place called Billy Bob's. It was a bar the size of a warehouse that had a mechanical bull and a real rodeo. While watching the rodeo we were appauled by the way they treat the bulls so we decided to leave early. I (Kelly) learned a valuable lesson - don't wear high heels to a rodeo! As we were leaving I slipped down the bleachers, fell in front of the whole crowd, tried to grab onto a one armed girl (who kai is convinced was in some sort of tractor accident), and my show went flying into the rodeo pit. After the Rodeo Clown gave me my shoe back we graciously left the Honky Tonk and stopped at the first Jack in the Box we saw. On our second day in Fort Worth we went to the Stockyards where I was victorius over Kai in our first ever, and last, Armadillo race. Kai obviously does not know how to control an Armadillo or blow on it's butt to make it run. After racing Armadillos, we decided the only racing we wanted to do was out of Texas. We packed up, put on our PJs, and headed west, as fast as we could. We made it to New Mexico by 1:00am, unscathed by the crazy hick fair we stopped at along the way (Let's just say we didn't stand out in our PJ's), or being pulled over and searched by the Texas State Trooper.

Day 15 and 16 Austin, Texas

Austin, United States

Austin is a fun city with an amazing lake, lots of live music and a lot of individulality unlike any place we have ever been. Austin is filled with great independently owned stores and restaurants. We jet skied on Lake Travis and snuck on someones huge water trampoline and jumped like little girls until our jet ski floated away and we had to swim after it. Keep Austin weird.

Day 13 and 14 San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio, United States

San Antonio is by far the prettiest and most romantic place we have ever been. We strolled down the riverwalk, took a night time river cruise, and ate lots of Mexican food. We are sleep deprived from our horrific hotel, we do not recommend the Red Roof Inn. We went to the Alamo and decided David Crockett was awesome. Off to Austin next.

We drove 8 1/2 hours from New Orleans to San Antonio, Texas. We stopped at Cajun Tales before leaving and never want to eat fried food again.
