H-Town - Blogabond

I should probably start off by saying that I'm not much of a traveler. I've been on a few trips in my life but nothing that comes even close to some of the amazing experiences I've heard and read about. I'm hoping all that changes once I graduate from university; however for now though, I'm stuck here in good ol' Houston.

But that doesn't mean I can't treat Houston as a vacation! It seems that I'm always discovering something new and exciting about this big, vibrant city, and I want to share all the things I find. In some ways, I do feel like a traveler here--I've only been here since July of 2006. And after all, isn't life one big journey? Who says my trip can't last years if I really want it to?

Since I've started to take an interest in photography, I figured I'd share stories and pictures of Houston on this blog. There's a lot in Houston that's worth experiencing, and when the time comes for me to leave, I want to be able to look back and remember what it was like to see the city through the eyes of a newcomer.
