Not all comments have been posted

We have just arrived home from our big trip, and alot of people have told us that they posted comments or sent e mails that we didn't receive. On person sent us one a month and only one came through, so she must of been doing it right. We also sent her a reply to this one, and she never recieved this. Is there a place where they get lost in, or is the comments and email section just not reliable? Also, a few of the comments we did get from other bloggers were actually people that seem to use the site as a dating Agency and we recieved offers of love and friendship. Their blog site showed no photo, no blog entries of travel or anything. Hmmm....
If you could let me know what happened to them, or if they are in blog land somewhere that would be great.
