German food questions

All right, here are serious questions, so no sarcasm please.

I'm going to Heidelberg. What brands of licorice are available there and
have strong flavors?

I've also heard about Limburger cheese, and the strongest stuff oozes a
black liquid. Is it available there?

I like food of all sorts with strong flavors

Limburger cheese originated in Limburg, Belgium. It is also made in the
United States and Germany.

My dad used to like Limburger, so of course I had to try it,
too, as a kid. I dunno about the genuine version, but IIRC,
its American cousin is rather mildly-flavoured. (It's only
getting something that smells so strongly past your nose and
into your mouth that can be a problem.)

No sarcasm.

Just a reminder to folks to remember you from your past questions.

You've been under the bridge for a while.
