Federation Square - a collection of strangely shaped buildings in the city centre make up this weird little area Flinders Street Station - the historic train station in the centre Statue of The Don, outside the MCG The glorious MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) - holds around 100,000 St Kilda beach St Kilda beach, with Melbourne in the distance Not sure what this is a statue of.  But there's a nice palm tree next to it Melbourne from the sports arenas - MCG to the right, Rod Laver arena (where Aussie Open is held), and Vodafone Arena (where the Commonwealth Games were held) to the left The Melbourne coat of arms.  I took this photo due to my fascination with whatever it is that takes up the top left box.  It looks strangely like a pig being airlifted somewhere... A pillar listing all the countries that took part in the 1956 Olympics (which was held in Melbourne). I call this one Cathedral with skyscrapers
