Now where?

We're all back in Cologne. Now I have some decisions to make. Where to go next? This map needs more lines on it.

Ingolstadt, Germany

Stayed at Hotel BB in Ingolstadt -- within striking distance of Munich. Very affordable (skipped breakfast). Free wifi!

Munich

Visited Munich on Sep 24 & 25. Very pretty city. Ate & drank some expensive but tasty food & beer at Oktoberfest. Saw the Rathaus-Glockenspiel (a life-sized cuckoo clock) in Marienplatz. Visited the Residenz Museum. Accidentally walked into what appeared to be a Nazi party election...

There's Nothing Like Family

This is the "end" of my Trans-Siberian journey. It is the farthest ahead I planned to travel. I reached my brother's place in Cologne, Germany. I'm visiting with him and his lovely wife and beautiful daughter.

Love this city!

Well what a city. If your looking to be the hippest and most 'in' person around then Berlin is the place to be. Due to historical upheavel and difficult struggles for freedom Germany and Berlin in particular has become a centre for freedom of expression and creative thinking. Art is not...

Berlin.. strike two, you only get one more chance!

Ich bin ein Berliner! This is what everyone would say if they have ever visited this amazing city. We planned to stay for 4 nights but then we found out that Ms. Natalia Nieradka would be in Bydgoszcz visiting her mom so we decided to cancel the last night and meet up with her instead. It is...
