Laos Baby!

After spending two days in Chiang Khong we crossed the Thai/ Laos border for a 2 day slow boat trip up the Mekong to Luang Prabang. Luckily the scenery and sunsets were absolutely amazing because after 14 hours sat on a plank of wood our arses had seen happier days! First night out in...

Leaving Laos

Well leaving Laos and its wonderfully slow mentality to everything had to happen sometime. The final destination was a beautiful and quiet retreat 6 hours by bus from the tubing town. Four days with Sebastian, Emily, Patric and others were spent relaxing where possible. And finally as we all...

2 Business Cards and The Journey From Hell!

Even writing this blog i had to restart twice after completing most of the text! 6.15pm. Having enjoyed the birthday of Thai Thinh's son Lee, i had a last coffee with my friend next to the bus departure point. The toy car present for Lee went down a treat, as did his mum's food...

Here's me, Here's the bear...

So I was mauled by a bear yesterday. Not a very big bear, and not much of a scratch even, but mauled is mauled. I'm sorta proud of myself. Me & Jay rented motorbikes and headed off to this big waterfall out at the end of a dirt road. It's one of these multi-tiered limestone falls, with...
