A sombre day

Today we got our stuff together and went to a town called Oświęcim in Polish, or you might know it by it's German name, Auschwitz. Wow... Not a great deal can be said about it... It is divided into 2 parts, Auschwitz and then about 3 kms away, there is Birkenau which was known as Auschwitz...

Got off a flight, took the bus to the train station, bought some tickets and then rode the bus to krakow... from the window I was glad I had... Not a pretty city by any stretch of it, but that's mostly because it had the shit bombed out of it sometime in the late 1930s, you might have heard...

Andrzej Śliwiński- Gajewniki

Gajewniki – wieś w Polsce położona w województwie łódzkim, w powiecie zduńskowolskim, w gminie Zduńska Wola. W latach 1975-1998 miejscowość administracyjnie należała do województwa sieradzkiego. W Gajewnikach znajduje się stadnina koni, w bliskim sąsiedztwie leży także wieś Gajewniki-Kolonia.
