Our destination — Granada and the Alhambra

Islam's indisputable imprint on western civilization is most beautifully evident here in this miraculously well-preserved 600-year-old palace and grounds. We enjoyed the Alhambra and Generalife (gen-er-a-LEEF-eh) gardens on a gorgeous early autumn day.
