When it's Almost Spring in Belfast

I know what everyone wants me to talk about in this entry. Probably wondering why I haven't brought it up since it happened. Honestly, the reason is that I'm not entirely sure what I want to say about it. On March 7, the Real IRA, a splinter of the Provisional Irish Republican Army, shot and...

York

We left London Yesterday and took our coach to York. I feel asleep as soon as we started driving and didn't wake up until we arrived. We got free time and went for high tea at a tiny little tea house. Today we woke up and drove to Edinburgh (except not really, becauswe we're about a fourty...

Free (and final) Day in London

Yesterday, the internet was being gay so I couldn't get on the internet. Not to mention I was too tired. It was our last day in London, and it was off to a bad start. Wake up call was at 7:00am and breakfast was at 8:00. Bree and I slept trough the wake up call and woke up at 8:30, (half an hour...

First Two Days in London

I couldn't access this website from the computer downstairs last night, so I have to write both days today (from the laptop). We arrived yesterday at 10 in the morning, after no sleep on the Calgary - Hethrow flight. I was too tired to care about anything. We walked around, went to Picadilly...

Goodbye ENGLAND

We found a really cheap ferry crossing on the 18th March from Dover to Dunkirk around £25 for both of us and the car and it was only a 45min crossing - not enough time for a little sleep after setting of from Norfolk at 6am.

Goodbye Bens Parents

From there we were off again to Norfolk for a few nights R&R with Ben’s parents. After managing to sly talk our way into leaving one or two things up in their loft, we repacked the car so we could actually see out of the back window, albeit slightly. We found a really cheap ferry crossing on the...

Angle of the North

It was time to say bye bye to Edinburgh and head to Ben’s little sister’s place in Stoke-on-Trent, however en-route we drove via Newcastle (Angle of the North), Bamburgh Castle (For the largest or longest sand dunes), Lamberton (by fluke James) and then landed in Stoke in time to watch the...

Car Trouble

So our luck wasn’t with us that morning as the car decided to brake down just before we got to Fort Augustus. Ben being the readily prepared gadget man he is knew that one of the coil packs stopped working, so we limped on 3 cylinders a few Miles for a safe place to stop to look under the...

Nessy

Kat has Scottish routes on her mum’s side of the family so remembering a photo she saw of the loch in her nan’s house was something she wanted to see for herself. We stopped at a travel information office just outside Inverness and found out some interesting facts about the loch, its 23miles...
