Long Island Sound up to Boston

Sailing was fantastic up the Long Island Sound and we were glad to be away from the big city. We stopped at the Thimbles on the North Shore where holiday homes perched on small rocks. We visited the Hamptons and ended up in Block Island on a very busy weekend. A long walk ashore...

Time To Fly

Our flight leaves Monday, August 10th at 5:30pm - we arrive in Paris, on Tuesday 8:30am. Hopefully getting through the Miami airport will be a breeze, and the flight will be smooth and on time. Lets hope.

Part 1: Gathering All Nations Together (G.A.N.T.)

I have so much to say, I have decided to break up my last entry into 2 parts. The first will be about the people I’ve met. The second will be about the things that I did with them. Here we go… Leades House Gang I believe I left off in my previous entry how the Spanish boys had arrived. Did I...

City by the Bay

That's it! I am sitting at the airport, waiting to board a plane to NYC. It just got dark, I am sitting by the window watching lights across the bay blink in the distance and smelling kerozine from jets taking off one by one. At this time I'm also enjoying the meal that you can see on the...

Planning Stages

Here we are still, at home in Montana. I wish the sky outside looked like the one in this photo, but alas, the skies of western Montana in August are typically grey-brown with smoke from wildfires in the mountains. This year is no different. I post the picture to remind myself that it really...
