I'll be checking my mail. I've been thinking about getting a tat as well. I really want to get one on my arm though, but want the color of my scars to fade. I don't know if I mentioned it to you yet, but i've been using mederma to reduce the size and visibility of my scars.. it costs me 18...

We're back!

Hi everyone So this is the first entry in our second attempt at having a blog. The last one was designated as Spam by google, and in spite of our numerous emails to them proclaiming ourselves to be real, breathing people, they persist in refusing to put it back up again, hence this new...

Peace River

Well, I decided to become a Palientologist and dig up shark teeth on the Peace River in Arcadia. Good stuff! Enjoy the pictures. We found all kinds of stuff, including what we have identified as a Jaguar mandible (super exciting). I'll definitely have to go back before the summer is over.

Dedication

This story is for: My mother and father, without whom I never would have learned to fly. My god-brother Michael, who taught me that the best plan is the one you never have to use. My gaming friends in California, who restored my faith in humanity. I love you all.

The Back Story

As our departure date approaches, a little back-story is appropriate. About two months ago James and I found ourselves at a crossroads, in our personal lives and our relationship with each other. These are the things that have spured us into taking this trip now. Our relationship had...

In June we headed for the USA to buy a yacht

After much planning we finally decided that we may just be able afford to buy a yacht. Barney spent every spare moment searching the web for any yachts that we could afford, he could fit in and would float. After much deliberation and spreadsheet analysis it turned out that they were all in...

So, it's been a while..

I've been thinking about you more and more as the 20th nears. You're going to be home soon.. we still haven't spoken much. I feel like I can't summarise the time spent these past months.. but it's had much more ups I want to say than downs. Downs consisting mainly of car accidents (yes, plural)...
