Berkeley Rocks. Again.

Hey Team This’ll be a really short post, and the next couple of posts will be as well, because my computer cord has broken and won’t charge my machine. Every time I want to use the computer now I have to ship myself and my gear to the library. This is not good team! I am in the middle of...

Day 17 and 18 Fort Worth, Texas

Cowboys, bull riding, and more cowboys! Fort Worth is definitley the home of the original cowboy. Almost everyone had on cowboy boots, very tight wranglers, and a cowboy hat. We went to a Honky Tonk at a place called Billy Bob's. It was a bar the size of a warehouse that had a mechanical...

Day 15 and 16 Austin, Texas

Austin is a fun city with an amazing lake, lots of live music and a lot of individulality unlike any place we have ever been. Austin is filled with great independently owned stores and restaurants. We jet skied on Lake Travis and snuck on someones huge water trampoline and jumped like little...

Last Night in Navarino - Night 0

My last night at home. Bags are packed, sort of. To-do list has been minimized. Tickets, insurance, etc have been purchased. Though I don't leave the country for two weeks, tomorrow is the beginning of my two week domestic trip. I shall not sleep in my own bed until April 2008. As a send...

Half a week has gone by,,,

Dear Team Well, it has been an interesting couple of days. I’ll start with the good stuff. I stayed up late on Saturday watching Lord of the Rings, and marvelling at how beautiful New Zealand is. I think the others could have done with less of the “And that’s Wellington’s Quarry!” but they...

Day 13 and 14 San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio is by far the prettiest and most romantic place we have ever been. We strolled down the riverwalk, took a night time river cruise, and ate lots of Mexican food. We are sleep deprived from our horrific hotel, we do not recommend the Red Roof Inn. We went to the Alamo and decided David...

Day 12 New Orleans to San Antonio

We drove 8 1/2 hours from New Orleans to San Antonio, Texas. We stopped at Cajun Tales before leaving and never want to eat fried food again.

Day 10 and 11 New Orleans, LA

24 hour bars, smell of vomit in the air, booty shaking contests, jazz bands and swimming in your clothes New Orleans is a non stop party city. It was a beautiful city with a lot of culture, amazing street artists, great food and a lot of evidence of hurricane Katrina still left.

Week 3

Right team – its update time! You know the drill – disjointed stories written down in no particular order, and with no particular malice intended. Thank you everyone who has sent me emails! I have gotten so many that it is hard for me to keep up, but I will slog on and hopefully will have...
