A Bit of Editorial Comment...are you paying attention George?

Louisiana Superdome

I hope they've found homes for all those displaced persons who ended up living here following Hurricane Katrina. Good work Brownie!

Trip Photos

Okay, so it takes forever to upload photos here, so I just uploaded them all to photobucket and made the albums public. They're sorted into albums by days, so just look on the left hand side and it'll tell you each day, just click on that and there are multiple pages of photos. These are all...

Day 5 and Trip Wrap-up

Okay, so I have been slack in getting this last update done, but here goes: Thursday was early rise for Rob and Chad as they had to get Chad to the airport bright and early. Rob had enough time to get back, fall back asleep, and be woken up not long after. We were all up and adam pretty...

Quick Day 4 Update

Okay, so we have an early rise tomorrow as Chad heads out at 5, so I am quickly typing this up with a more in-depth report tomorrow/Friday. Everyone was late getting up this morning (8:30), so we all kind of meandered in as we got up and made our own waffles with fresh fruit (BEST thing...

Days Two and Three in New Orleans!

Day One in N'awlins!

Alright, so after thinking that our flight wasn't going to leave Houston until 12:30 this morning, but Continental got their act together and found us a plane, so we got into town at our regularly scheduled time, about 11 last night. Some of us climbed in Kevin's truck, some in the van Rob was...

Katrina's Ghost

13 November 2007 Today, after breakfast of hot home-made brewed coffee and krispy kreme (leftover from last night… and yes, we know what you’re thinking but we’re on holiday, so shush! Haha!), we were ready for our long drive to the State of Louisianna. Manong Tom & cousin Grace left a note on...

Day 10 and 11 New Orleans, LA

24 hour bars, smell of vomit in the air, booty shaking contests, jazz bands and swimming in your clothes New Orleans is a non stop party city. It was a beautiful city with a lot of culture, amazing street artists, great food and a lot of evidence of hurricane Katrina still left.
