Day 36

Fly to Kathmandu. Met guy from NY -- Patrick. shared cab to guest house. got flat tire. Had breakfast with Patrick at his guest house (right next door). Ran errand.

Took bus back to Kathmandu (and got ANOTHER flat tire). Dinner at KC's and then beer at Patrick's.

Day 29 (continued)

Lunch at KC's, then spent afternoon making Chitwan arrangements and looking at Don's purchases. Barb sick -- I had dinner at Pizzamaya. (goats, carry on heads, small Teej groups).

Day 28

Finally flew to Kathmandu, checked into Potala Guest House. Walked Durbar Square. Looked at other guest houses. Had a coke at a restaurant overlooking Kathmandu Guest House. Did laundry. Ate lunch at Il Cimbeli pizza and dinner at Tibet's Kitchen.
