					<title><![CDATA[Day 14]]></title>
					<description><![CDATA[OK, this wasn't really a vacation day, but the process of getting from <a href="/Peru/Iquitos">Iquitos</a> to Lima to home was pretty amazing as it involved a missed flight from <a href="/Peru/Iquitos">Iquitos</a>, a mad dash across the tarmac in Lima, and an angry mob pissed that their plane back to the states was delayed by some <a href="/Australia/Young">Young</a> backpacker (um, me).    ]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Another day of trekking ... and one on which I thought I'd never get through.  It wasn't the uphill portions that did me in, but rather the 1,000 Inca steps down from the last pass to the hostel near the ruins of Winay Wayna.  Really, I've never felt my legs shake like that before.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[First we take the train, passing through <a href="/Peru/Ollantaitambo">Ollantaitambo</a> to Kilometer 88 near the <a href="/Peru/Llactapata">Llactapata</a> ruins, and hike to the Three White Stones campsite, which may or may not be near Wayllabamba.  My companion gets altitude sickness but fortunately at the campsite is a fancy-shmancy tour group and they have oxygen.]]></description>
