a good day

wow. today! the doctor didn't show up to the office until after noon. enough time to tell us that "someday" we'd be going to schools to educate some kiddies about the risks of contracting HIV, so I ought to recreate another copy of the HIV poster I made to hang on her bare, blue clinic wall. ...

Black Beaches

We decided to stop the ship at Limbe for the remainder of our time in Cameroon. Yesterday we went to this insane black volcanic beach where we had some fun in the sun. So not too much to write after Mt. Cameroon but East Africa awaits after a welcome stop over in the fazerland, saffafrica...

again my blogs have become somewhat lacking, haven't they? ashea (AW-she-aw{sorry}) saturday night we were invited to a celebration party. it was some kind of formal "passing on" of the leadership positions in a formal school group, while also welcoming the new freshmans into the roles. the...

Day 3 - Mount Cameroon

(Scroll down to Day1 for the whole story) Usually our days end when the sun sets, we scout for good food and hit a few beers. But this does not seem to be the case on the mountain. Its an equal battle to charge the batteries than to run them flat. We slept in a grass-shelter last night...
