Hi, I just wanted to say that I LOVE your blog! I have spent almost 2 years in China, mostly in Chongqing as that is my wife's hometown. I have NEVER met friendlier, warmer people in all my travels. (been to 30 countries) Literally EVERYWHERE I've been they have been like my "guardians". They do indeed love Americans, Australians, and Brits!

Looking at your pics brings back SO many wonderful memories, and makes me want to go back. The scenery in Chongqing is much like Chengdu. I was there when that earthquake hit. Chongqing is about 140 Miles from Chengdu, and our building was shaking like it had hit there! I have bookmarked this blog, and I will be watching with great anticipation all your posts. Keep up the good work!

BTW ~ There is a local beer in Chongqing that I drink, (I'm diabetic) that is the BEST beer I've EVER had. I'll have my wife give me the name of it, and post it. Even though I'm diabetic, ANY time there is any kind of celebration, it's my excuse to drink it. :o)
