Food in Rome

Rome, Italy

Food was a big part of our trip to Rome. All kinds of great pasta and pizza. One night we bought some olives, cheese, and salamie at a local market to enjoy back at the apartment. Lily was amazed by the size of the mortadella behind the counter, so we had to buy some.

Rome sounded like fun......were the pastas and pizzas like back in the states? Would love to have seen the coliseum....what stories it could tell!
