settled - Blogabond

Wow, i suck at this. My apologies folks. I've have been worse about this blog than i have been about my journal, and thats bad. Also this may not be the lengthy one you might have hoped because i am outside and being eaten alive by bugs (yes mom i AM wearing bug dope) anywhoo...as some of you may know i had a small run-in with malaria. i am FINE however. they are pros at treating it here as it is very common. several other american students have also had it. i have been treated and am feeling back to my bouncing self.
a little bit of news...i visited Cape Coast last weekend. It was both a difficult and beautiful trip. We visited the slave castle at Elmina which was most strange in the paradox of the beauty of the place and the atrocities that took place there. That same day we visited the slave river, where the africans took their last bath before they were taken to Elmina and put on boats. the next day we went to Kakum National Park and did the canopy walk. Ill post pictures soon because words dont do it justice, trust me.
