The onset of apprehension...

Its the day of our first day of travelling with flights from Manchester to London and from there to Delhi, the capital of India. I'm pretty chilled out to be honest, although when we get to the airport I'll be going to the toilet every 5 mins and end up looking like I'm smuggling the crown jewels.
Sara keeps puffing and panting and coming out with random comments such as "poo poo pants!". She's stressed (albeit excited at the same time) because she hasn't finished packing. We've planned ahead so much! I think we've got every gizmo and gadget thats needed for travelling. I think we've planned for so long that I've become sick of planning and just want to get out there for a hot curry and a cold beer!
The most daunting aspect of getting prepared has been the thought of living out of a ruck sack for just short of 7 months. This is especially since I've always carried half a tonne of hair care products with me since the age of about 6 when I thought I was the next Peter Andre. So to reduce the weight I had "Behnam the Barber" shave my head. Problem solved! Sara wasn't quite up for the shaved head approach, and I regretted it straight away when I found out I could get goosepimples on my bald head in the typical English weather. The temperature in England today was nine degrees whereas New Delhi was a fit 29 degrees.
We'll be putting some pictures on as soon as possible so keep an eye open!!
