Home for the Holidays

Fort Lauderdale, United States

I moved from Woodbridge, VA to Fort Lauderdale, FL in July 2007. It was shortly after my retirement and a welcomed change of venue. Fort Lauderdale is such an appealing place.
-The weather!
-The beaches!
-The people!
-Friends!
-Great entertainment venues.
-Super food options.
-The weather!
-The pace of life is varied: You choose the speed.
-Volunteer options abound.
-Easy access International Airport for quick and effortless getaways.
-Did I mention THE WEATHER?

I've delighted in securing a wonderful circle of friends in Lauderdale and value their friendship so much.
They are truly 'the icing on the cake.'

The trip from Key West, FL is so easy! On the way I'll visit North Miami Beach.

I can't wait to reconnect with everyone.

We're all meeting at a local restaurant for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
I'll be doing some shopping too, to get supplies for the next trip---Asia!
