Through the Kimberleys & to Broome.

Broome, Australia

After leaving Kununurra, we headed along the Gibb River Road into the Purnululu National Park where we had the opportunity to spend two nights camping under the stars and checking out the amazing Bungle Bungle ranges. Many of us took the option of taking a helicopter flight as well as checking them out on the ground. There was the opportunity to have a champagne sunset and relax after another fantastic day checking the park out.

El Questro Wilderness Reserve was our next stop and here we also had two nights to enjoy the camp ground. It was a one horse town (just about)and it even had a bar. There was so many swimming opportunities for us. Just down from where our camp sit was set up there was even a swimming hole so we had many opportunities to swim when ever we could.

So many walks/hikes on this tour and some of them we have visited include Galvins Gorge, Manning Gorge, Windjana Gorge, Bells Creek GorgeAmalia Gorge & Zebedee Springs.

Another sunset enjoyed by the group down by the waters edge where we went croc spotting - I paddled my feet, just so the croc would come to the surface....and he did....lucky they were only fresh water crocs!

A quick trip to Derby (lucky we didn't stay there long.....nothing exciting happens there) and then onto Broome where I had the opportunity to take a camel ride along Cable Beach at sunset. It was amazing and lots of fun.

Today we are heading to 80 Mile Beach and there is only now 3 of us on the tour - we left 10 people in Broome to finish their holidays and Ken, Dave & I will be heading down to Perth over the next 9 days.

Or would have spat her out because she is too sweet and would have cause him to get fat. Glad you're having a great trip.
