Welcome to New York

New York Mills, United States

Hi everybody. Well, this is one of the first things that surprised me when I arrived to New York. Have a look at the pumpkin at the bottom of the picture. It´s amazing.
Today I bought my tickets for the first basketball match of the season in the Madison Square Garden. Knicks against Portland (Rudy´s team). It will be on 30th October.
Now it´s half past nine pm in New York so it´s half past three am in Spain. I guess you all are sleeping. Sweet dreams!

The Simpsoms

New York Mills, United States

Here I am again,
This time I am in front of the school bus. It´s quite similar to Apu´s bus in the Simpsoms. You can see many of them around the city. Taxis (American people call them cabs) in New York have the same color.

Brooklyn Bridge

New York Mills, United States

Hi!!
I took this pic from Brooklyn Bridge. You can apreciate Manhattan skyline in a lovely day.
The bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn. Since it´s opening, it has become an iconic part of New York.
I went from Manhattan to Brooklyn on foot through the bridge and I had a marvellous day there. Many people was walking and some of them were jogging. The most of the tourists were taking pics. I was one of them.

Hi everybody!
Ms. Conchi showed me the pictures of the celebration of Halloween in the school. They were awesome!
You know that Halloween was celebrated in October 31st. There was a huge parade on the street. Everybody dressed up and the main streets were full of people. Have a look. It was difficult even taking a picture.

Statue of Liberty

New York Mills, United States

Today is November 7th and I have been in the Statue of Liberty. The statue is in an island and you can get there by Ferry from Manhattan or New Jersey. It´s 12 dollars each ticket. It is very nice and not so big but the view of Manhattan is very nice.
