The Beginning

Ok, so here I am, I am reliving a lie. That is called my life, or what my life has become. A life of hate, of malice, of love and war. But what I am talking about? I am talking about my life. It seems as though I've come and gone, lost gained. I want to be free. And now, there is a chance for...

"Adopt the Pace of Nature; Her Secret is Patience"

I haven't actually left for New Zealand yet. Clearly. I do not leave for another week and a half. But - I have been doing the majority of the grocery shopping lately, and I have been measuring my time left by the expiration dates on the gallons of milk I buy. Whenever I check the expiration date...

D-town Departure A.K.A. Panic in Detroit

So at long last and much waiting in Michigan I am all set to board the Boeing 747-400 for a quick(fourteen hour!) jaunt over to Narita Airport outside of Tokyo and another hop on a smaller 747-200 over to Gimhae Airport in Busan. This is where I will be calling home for the next year and I...

Mardi-Gras Masquerade Going away Party Madness

In a frantic search before the party to find a costume I made a quick circuit of the Benton Harbor shopping area. Which basically is comprised of the Factory Card Outlet, Wal-Mart and Meijer seeing as it was about 8:30 P.M. on the 26th of January. I had only found out that my friends were...
