Tulum

Tulum, Mexico

A two hours trip on a bus heading south to Tulum makes me forget about noisy Cancun and Europe. I'm definitely somewhere else now.
Tulum is a small but nice archeological site on the shores or the Caribbean Sea and a good place to recover from the flight.
I sleep in a cheap bungalow on the beach but I really don't need anything more.

Cancun

Cancun, Mexico

Cancun looks like a theme-park. The theme is Mexico but one can hardly believe to be there. I could easily be in the US or in Europe. The prices are the same, the people are the same and the Mexicans are just part of the staff, aren't they?
Luckily I'm staying here only one night.
