Tainan Confucius Temple 台南孔廟

Tainan Confucius Temple 台南孔廟, Taiwan

2007-07-24 12:37. BW. Aya's mom prepared an unknown seaweed or coral Hai Yen drink for everyone.

Old Big explained that the bells hanging on roof corners are a reference to the traditional view of education as being similar to a bell sound that spreads outwards to reach listeners. I noticed the NCKU logo consisted of a bell surrounded by other text. Other signature features of Confucius temples that were pointed out to us were the the Tong Tian Tong (Tubes). Google 通天筒 for other examples on Confucian temples.
