More people watching over breakfast at Urth on Melrose Avenue with Xan's friends Kayvan and Darius.
Silicone Valley has shifted from the San Jose region to LA.
Saw some Australian comedian I recognised, but can't recall his name.

The Mad Greek and the Bun Boy Motel

Barstow, United States

Stopped for gas and a leak at Baker, halfway between Barstow and the Nevada border. As you can see, the best gyros in America can be purchased here.

Red Rock West

Las Vegas, United States

Visited Red Rock Canyon west of Las Vegas. "Feel the serenity" comes to mind after the chaos and soullessness of The Strip last night.

Dinner and Show

Las Vegas, United States

If you don't gamble and you're not planning a wedding, the only other reason to come to Vegas is the shows.
Front row seats (the wet seats) at Franco Dragone's "Le Reve" (former director for Cirque de Soleil).
Totally awesome, dude!

Couldn't help but be reminded of Clark Griswold visiting the Hoover Dam with his Cousin Eddie.

Getting My Kicks...

Kingman, United States

The whole reason we're here : Route 66.
Whilst we stayed in Santa Monica (one end of "the Mother Road"), our musical odyssey really begins here in Kingman. On and off 66 from here to Amarillo, Texas.
Choc shake @ Mr D'z served by Venus. Felt like we were appearing on Happy Days. Needless to say there were Harleys in the parking lot.
