Intramuros, Malate, and Baywalk

Manila, Philippines

Manila is know for its beautiful cities, delighful malls, and exciting nightlife. For those who would want to experience a more adventurous time, I suggest to visit the culture rich places that are sometimes forgotten by the typical city dweller. One of the best places to visit are the Intramuros, Baywalk, and Malate areas.

If you want to have a great time in the city, you have to visit Intramuros, which is the “Walled City”. It was built during the Spanish regime, and still looks beautiful. The cobblestone streets which were once trudged by the Spaniards, are windows to beautiful Spanish architecture. Also, go to Malate and visit two of the oldest churches in Manila, which are the Manila Cathedral and the San Agustin Church. Experience a breezy afternoon at the Baywalk, which is a long strip of walkway on Roxas Boulevard. You can watch the beautiful Manila sunset at Manila Bay.
